The random thoughts of a genius...er...gene nash.
boy do i feel stupid
Published on October 18, 2005 By Gene Nash In Blogging
Sometimes I'll know something is there, but just not be able to see it. It drives me crazy that my subconscious is onto something but won't share. My sub-c must be female -- it drops hints then pouts because I don't get it. "Well if you can't see it, I'm certainly not going to tell you," it recriminates, then turns its very cold shoulder.

For more than a year now I've been looking at kingbee's URL, al-fahryd-i-nhumon.joeuser.com, trying to figure out what it means, knowing there is something there but just not getting it.

Okay -- I get it. Big duh-oh on me.

Ya got me, kb.

Just wait for that smarty pants subconscious to come around and pester me. Now I can just smile, turn my cold shoulder and say, "What, me worry?"

I like to think I was over thinking it.

(And placing the em-PHA-sis on the wrong seal-LAB-el.)

Fuzzy must've affected you more than you let on...

I told you my brain was turning to mush.

Maybe kingbee is really Lamont Cranston... he has the power to cloud men's minds!

Would you get MAD if we didn't tell you?

Darnit! First The Usual Suspects and now this!

Next thing you'll be telling me that hot chick in The Crying Game is gay or something!

D'oh. Here, I can play a decent game of Scrabble, but I can't see a double-entendre to save my life.

*goes and sits in the corner*

Darnit! First The Usual Suspects and now this!

I can't keep a secret to save my life....

*SLAM* *SLAM* *SLAM*

Okay, now that there's a nice dent in my desk ...

It's another one of those things where once you know the secret, it's painfully obvious and you wonder why on Earth! did you ever not get it?

Sheesh. Color me dense sometimes.

Don't feel bad, I had no idea there was one there too!

(perhaps this is where we find out whether it's possible to insult someone using only an english to arabic--and back--online translator and an easily obtainable set arabic language font.)

Don't know. Should I have Café Press stick that image on a sweatshirt and go strolling into the nearest Mosque to see what happens? (It'll be faster than staring at it for the next year. Though this time when the revelation "strikes me" it may be less pleasant....)

OMG, she is gay? What a drag!

(Wondering if the two punchlines I cut before settling on "what a drag" really were too over the top for my JU audience....)

I think that spells it out quite clearly!

She?

hahaha.

Oh, if that amuses you, you should have seen the two I didn't go with.
